New Orleans Face & Body Painting uses FDA-approved, hypoallergenic body paints which are designed specifically for body painting. The paints we use are not tested on animals. If you require information on paint ingredients, please let us know and we will be happy to provide you with this information.
New Orleans Face & Body Painting uses water-based paint and, if in an air-conditioned or cool environment, your paint should stay in place until you wash it off. However, if you wish your paint to be longer lasting, or if you intend to wear your paint to an event, party, or in a humid environment, please let us know before hand and we can apply a make-up stabilizer before and after your paint to help your paint stay and look fresh for the entire day or evening!

New Orleans Face & Body Painting is a mobile service, that means, we come to you! We are based in Harahan, Louisiana (New Orleans), and are happy to travel to your location. If you are visiting New Orleans and do not have a location for your event, please let us know and we will work with you to find the right location.
Travel for the artist (and one assistant if applicable) to your location within 30 miles of New Orleans (from LaPlace to Chalmette) is included in the cost of the package you have chosen.
For travel 30-60 miles from New Orleans (Slidell, Mandeville, or Gonzales for example), an additional $50 will be added to the cost (to allow for travel).
For travel 60-100 miles from New Orleans (Baton Rouge for example), an additional $100 will be added to the cost (to allow for travel).
For travel greater than 100 miles from New Orleans (locations past Baton Rouge or out of state for example), additional cost will be added on for travel, please inquire for exact cost.
Note: Travel outside of further than 30 miles of NOLA is NOT possible at the following times:
- The week of Halloween
- Mardi Gras Day or the two weekends prior to Mardi Gras Day
- Christmas Day
- New Years Eve
Yes! Additional fully and lightly edited photos can be added to your package prior to (and in some cases after) your paint. Once you have booked one of our artist will be in touch with you to find out some additional information about your hopes for you paint, at this point you will also have the opportunity to add additional photos to your package if you wish.
Rules and laws on public decency vary from location to location and state to state. Body paint is often not considered adequate cover to be worn alone in a public location. Before wearing your paint in public, or a location where you can be seen by the public, please be sure to check the rules and laws in your location. For Mardi Gras, Halloween, Costume Party, or other body paint you may want to wear in public, we can paint you wearing a two piece swimsuit or other items of clothing at your request.
Photos included as part of a package, digital (zip-drive) and printed photos, will be delivered via mail. Your zip-drive will contain two folders: folder one will hold your high-resolution photos ready for printing; folder two will hold lower-resolution photos which include the ‘New Orleans Face & Body Painting’ watermark for use online, on your website, Facebook, Instagram, emailing, etc. You have the rights to print your photos yourself, or you can purchase prints directly from us! Printed photos will be watermark free!
50% of the cost of your package is due upon booking, with the other 50% due before or on the day of the painting, prior to the start of painting. On the day payments can be made by either cash or PayPal.

Deposits are refundable if the booking is cancelled no less than 7-days prior to the event. Cancellations made less than 7-days prior to the event will forfeit the booking deposit (50% of the total booking fee). Should it be necessary to re-schedule a booking, required date changes should be made no later than 7-days before the original appointment date. Bookings re-scheduled less than 7-days prior to the original event date will not be eligible for booking deposit refund should the booking be canceled at a later date. Re-booking will be subject to date/time availability.
