New Orleans Face & Body Painting is experienced in painting children, teens & adults at parties small and large, from small family gatherings to full classes of school children!
Using our designs you can normally expect 12-18 faces painted per hour.
We can also, if you choose, take custom design requests from your guests, however painting custom requests can results in less face paints per hour (6-12 face paints per hour / per artist, depending on request/design).
Yes, during cooler months (October until May). During Louisiana's hot months (June, July, August, September), face painting is best undertaken in air conditioning so the face paint does not melt and to help the face paint last longer on the skin (even if your guests go outdoors after being painted).
New Orleans Face & Body Painting uses water-based paint, as a result, your paint will not stand up to swimming. We do carry ‘baby wipes’ to clean up any smudged face paint and some children love the idea of being able to have a second (or even a third) face paint at the same party!
In an air-conditioned or cool environment, your paint should stay in place until you wash it off. In a humid environment the paint can smudge. To help with this we recommend that face paint be applied in an or air-conditioned area during Louisiana's hot & humid summer months to help the paint last longer.
